‘Plastic has now penetrated everywhere, and Sofia Fresia shows it in her painting. The plastic bottle takes center stage, enjoying a mountain landscape as if it were on a hiking trip. It toasts its inevitability, slightly bent by a time that does not come to an end. Around it, nature changes and it remains there, motionless, observing the change. The last party is an irreverent and satirical painting. In addition to demonstrating environmental pollution, in this work the issue of the melting of glaciers also touches the artist in a personal way: they are places that she has seen and experienced firsthand, observing an environmental crisis that has touched intimate and profound chords and to which she could not be indifferent.’
